Well, it's Year-End again, and this one has been a Karamazov story: we have survived. Let's all agree that 2009 won't be remembered as 'the good ol' days' for many of us (bankruptcy lawyers and the odd lottery winner excepted). I won't dwell on details, but the perfect storm of project & payments delays, customer pullbacks (and even collapse) might well have done in a weaker company, but our team pulled through and we're still here for you.
Looking forward, what do we have coming up in 2010? We've almost finished filling out our line, with motors, drivers, pressure-wave generators now in seven standard sizes & proven coolers in the four most popular ones. We'll be refining and driving cost out for you this year. Look for announcements of new, more affordable versions of our 102 & 132 models first. Look first at our newly updated website www.qdrive.com (you may already be there!).
We've just received our latest patent. This one (US 7,628,022) recognizes our innovative FAR (flexibly-attached remote) coldhead technology, that brings even lower vibration vibration and superior packaging to our efficient acoustic-Stirling Qdrive coolers. The FAR option makes conversion from old-style G-M coolers a snap, and enables critical new applications that could not bear a dynamic cooler of any sort before.
We at Qdrive hope you have a Very Happy New Year!
Here, we'll just keep chillin' (quietly, efficiently, reliably).
Hello,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Ronald L. Fitch JR. and I am highly interested in your design and potential applications with devices created from a similar design pattern. I would like to be in contact with members of your group and see if we cant have some mutually beneficial contact, be it for design potential, future finance, or further applications.
